Patternmaking 101


Like making your own clothes but have a hard time finding patterns with that perfect fit? Come learn the foundational concepts of pattern making through flat pattern drafting & 3D form alteration, and tailoring. Learn how to take proper measurements, adjust patterns, cut, and sew a muslin to create a custom basic bodice pattern.  *In this class, we will learn foundational skills on how to better fit & adjust a pattern to fit you. We will focus on flat patternmaking techniques, build a muslin sample, and investigate fit. Get on the way to stylizing the clothing you imagine! Register here

*This class is the prerequisite to all other pattern making classes offered through the Riyoko studio

Class fees include all supplies except rulers. Rulers are available for purchase in the Assemble Work/Shop, and during the class.
